01 / The product

What it is trying to do.

Homegrown supports manual introductions between people seeking a place to grow and people willing to offer spare garden or land space. It is an early live pilot, not a booking marketplace. Public addresses are not displayed, introductions are handled directly, and participants agree any practical arrangement themselves.

Who it is for

People in the Republic of Ireland who want space to grow food, and garden or land holders who may be willing to share an unused patch.

The problem addressed

Some would-be growers lack access to land while useful growing space is left unused. Homegrown provides a focused route for those two groups to express interest and explore a direct introduction.
