Data used
Account email, public profile, age declaration, policy acceptances, project drafts, submissions, reviews, responses, notices, appeals, moderation records, delivery records, and Launch Review contact details are processed to operate the service. Short-lived salted hashes support abuse prevention. Long-term raw IP histories are not part of the product.

Purposes
Data is used for authentication, publication, moderation, security, communication, audit, corrections, legal notices, appeals, service measurement with consent, and responding to Launch Review interest. Account creation is not newsletter consent and marketing email is out of scope.

Public information
Published project/team names, product content, reviewer names, checked professional links, reviews, maker responses, revision history, and bounded status records are public. Email, private Irish-connection evidence, report contact details, and moderation-only evidence are not public.

Retention and deletion
Login tokens expire after 15 minutes. Sessions have 14-day idle and 30-day absolute limits. Failed temporary uploads expire within 24 hours. Account deletion has a 30-day cooling period. Records may be retained where needed for moderation integrity, legal obligations, security, or the public review record, with reviewer identity anonymised where appropriate and valid.

Your choices
You may request access, correction, withdrawal, restriction, objection, portability where applicable, or deletion by emailing info@builtinireland.ie. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.

Analytics
Analytics is optional and does not load before an affirmative choice. Rejecting analytics does not block the service. Contact details and private account data are not sent to analytics.
