List your project

Use the free listing form. No account is needed. A person checks that the product works and that at least one maker or the operating business is based in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. You get a public project page with a “looking for” panel.

Some projects are listed from public information so more people discover them. Those pages are labelled “Added from public information” and link to the source. A listing doesn’t mean the maker has joined a feedback round. Every project page has links to manage the listing, correct or remove it, or report a problem — no account needed.

The Builders Board

The Builders Board is a free noticeboard for three kinds of ask: co-founder wanted, help wanted and testers & feedback. Only asks confirmed by a verified maker count as open: 30 days for co-founder and help asks, 14 days for tester asks, or sooner if the maker set a deadline. Research-sourced leads summarise an ask the maker published elsewhere; they are shown separately as not confirmed and drop off 90 days after the original post. Checking a source again never extends that.

Built In Ireland does not broker, vet or guarantee arrangements. Agree equity, pay and IP in writing, and never pay to apply.

Feedback notes

Anyone can leave a short feedback note on a project page: what they tried, what worked, what got in the way, and one thing they would change. If you could not get in, say so — that is useful too. A person checks each note for a genuine attempt, relevance and safety, not for whether it is positive.

Feedback rounds

In a feedback round each maker tests two other projects and receives two notes on their own. Assignments are made by a person, not an algorithm: nobody reviews their own project or a colleague’s. Only accepted, genuine attempts count. If a round is smaller than planned, we say so rather than calling it complete.

Eligibility

A project is eligible when at least one active maker or operating business is based in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. Testers may be based anywhere.

What the labels mean

Added from public information: The maker has not confirmed this listing or joined a round.
Submitted by the maker · control not yet checked: Submitted by someone who says they represent the project; control has not yet been checked.
Managed by the maker · control verified: A person checked that the maker controls the project, through the original posting account, a project-domain mailbox or a website check.

None of these labels is approval, certification, security assurance or a quality rating.

Corrections and safety

Makers cannot suppress fair criticism. They can report a factual error, correct their listing once control is verified, or publish an update showing what they changed. Security vulnerabilities, secrets and personal data are routed privately and are not published. Report a problem.
